Hi, I'm Michaela.

Just a gal that likes pretty things and making others feel joy.

MORE ABOUT me.

Elsewhere

Let’s be real for a second — there are way too many website platforms out there, and they all promise to be “the easiest” or “the best for SEO” or “the most beautiful.” But after years of designing websites for creative entrepreneurs (and yes, testing allllll the platforms like Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress), I can confidently say: Showit is my ride-or-die.

And if you’re sitting there like, “Okay but… why though?” — LET ME TELL YOU.

1. Design Freedom That Doesn’t Make You Want to Cry

You know when you want your website to look a certain way, and the template is like, “LOL NOPE”? Yeah. That’s not a thing with Showit. It’s literally the same freedom as having a blank canvas and a pencil.

I can literally design whatever we dream up. Want your name in big bold letters across the screen? DONE. Want some weird squiggly lines, overlapping photos, and a headline that gives off main character energy? DONE.

And guess what? No code. No Googling “how to move text box in Squarespace” at 11 PM. Just pure, drag-and-drop goodness. Because tbh coding feels very scary, it’s giving matrix vibes and tbh i thought that movie sucked just as much as coding.

2. Perfect for Service-Based Businesses (AKA: You, Trying to Book Clients)

Most of my clients are service providers — coaches, venues, creatives, photographers, copywriters — and they need a website that doesn’t just look cute but actually gets people to book.

Showit lets me design strategic websites that guide people exactly where you want them to go. It’s not just about looking pretty (although, yes, it WILL). It’s about helping you book more clients while you’re living your life and not glued to your laptop.

3. You Can Actually Update It Yourself – No Designer Needed

Here’s a hot take: if you can drag a photo on your desktop, you can handle Showit. That’s over simplified but like that’s how stinkin’ easy it can be!

After I hand over your dreamy, personality-packed, custom Showit website, you’ll be able to update photos, text, add blogs — all without begging your designer to help (or paying $$$ for every little change).

And don’t worry, I’m not about to leave you hanging. I give all my clients tutorials so you know exactly what to do (and if we’re being real, I’m always an email away).

4. Google Actually Likes Showit (SEO-Friendly, Baby!)

Listen, I love pretty websites, but if no one finds them on Google? What’s the point?!

I just recently included more SEO work into all of my packages because I would be a shitty designer to just leave you with a pretty site that does nothing for you.

Showit connects with WordPress for blogging (aka SEO GOLD), and it lets me set up meta descriptions, page titles, and alt text — all the nerdy SEO stuff that helps Google know what your biz is about.

So yes, your Showit site can be both beautiful AND rank on Google. We don’t do “either/or” around here. I hear a lot about showit being the worst with accessibility but we have control over this- sooo I design all my sites to have the best accessibility rankings, thank yeww very much!

PS. if you haven’t start using your Google business page.. like yesterday! Google loves these and its FREE…so why the heck not use it to collect reviews, add your website, etc!

5. Your Site Will Look Amazing on Mobile (Because Everyone’s on Their Phone)

Fun fact: most of your potential clients are checking you out on their phone — probably while watching Netflix with one eye on Instagram.

Side note can we all be so forreal that the Love is Blind franchise is just not it anymore?! But yes, I will continue to watch it. every. single. season. Ok back to the blog.

Showit lets me design your mobile site separately, so it doesn’t look like a squished version of your desktop site. It looks INTENTIONAL. Polished. High-end. Just like your brand.

6. The Customer Support? Actually Amazing (Like, Real People Helping You)

Look, I’ve used a lot of platforms where you send in a support ticket and just… wait. And wait. And maybe never hear back (fun, right?).

But Showit’s customer support is next-level. I’m talking real humans, real fast responses, and actual help — not some AI robot spitting out useless answers.

Whether it’s a random tech hiccup or just needing help figuring out a feature, Showit’s team is kind, patient, and so dang helpful. I tell all my clients, “If you get stuck, message them — they’ve got you!” and they send awesome GIF’s your way which is bonus points in my books!

So yeah, you’re not on your own when you launch a Showit site. And I’ll be here too, cheering you on.

So, Should You Use Showit for Your Website?

If you:

  • Want a site that looks like YOU (not like a sad template)
  • Need something that books clients and makes sales while you’re busy living life
  • Want to be able to update things yourself without emailing your designer every week
  • Care about ranking on Google AND looking good doing it

…then Showit is your new BFF, and I’m your girl to help you make it happen.
