Like really looked at it?
If you’re a wedding venue owner, chances are your to-do list is a mile long. You’re managing vendors, answering 12 variations of “Can we bring sparklers?”, and keeping weekends running like a dream.
But if your wedding venue website design hasn’t gotten that same attention in years (or was DIY’d in a panic during 2020), you could be silently losing out on your best-fit couples.
Let’s talk about what’s actually hurting your bookings, and what to do about it.

If your website is all vibes, no info, that’s a problem.
You’ve got gorgeous photos (yay!), but your couples can’t figure out what’s included, how to book, or even what makes your venue different. And confused people don’t convert, they click away.
How to Fix It:
Design your site like a walkthrough. Clear sections that answer:
Think of it like a tour before the tour.
We love social. But it shouldn’t be doing all the heavy lifting.
If you’re constantly saying “check out our IG highlights” because your website doesn’t have up-to-date galleries, you’re making people work too hard.
How To Fix It:
Your wedding venue website should be the main character. That means:
Instagram should be the teaser. Your website? That’s the full experience.
Your visitors are there. They’re interested. But they don’t know what to do next.
No clear button. No inquiry form. No map of what happens after they reach out. So they… leave.
How to Fix It:
Use strong calls to action like:
And place them often after your gallery, near pricing, and in your footer. Make it impossible to not reach out. Your website isn’t a scavengar hunt so let’s make it sooo easy!

Here’s the thing: most of your couples are looking at your site from their phone. On the couch. While watching Netflix. If they have to pinch and zoom or click 6 tiny menu buttons? You’ve lost them.
How to Fix It:
A platform like Showit (which I design in!) makes your mobile experience chef’s kiss—fully responsive, clean, and fast.
Bonus: Google will like you better too.
You may have the most stunning space in your area, but if your site doesn’t show up when someone Googles “wedding venues near [your city]”… you’re missing out on organic traffic. That means fewer dreamy couples finding you.
How to Fix It:
At minimum, make sure you’ve got:
If that sounds like gibberish—I’ve got you. I bake SEO into every project I touch.
If any of the above felt a little too real, I say this with love: your website might need a glow-up.
But here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to be complicated, scary, or DIY’d at midnight with wine and tears.
This is literally what I do.
I design Fully custom and semi-custom wedding venue websites that:
Whether you need:
✨ A one-page powerhouse
✨ A full custom site
✨ Or a site that just doesn’t look like it was built in 2013…
