Your Brand Is More Than a Logo, It’s the First “Yes” Your Clients Say
I LOVE a good logo, butttt a logo isn’t a brand. I like to describe it as a logo is what you see a brand is whar you feel. You can have a logo… shit anyone can, but you need to EMBODY your brand. You can’t jsut have a brand without work going into it.
When I work on branding for creative entrepreneurs, I create a full map out visually that gets clients saying yes before they even read your services page. They are seeing before they read and if they don’t like what they see- the rest doesn’t matter.
but as a designer I will always vouch for you hiring a website copywriter if you’re wanting to dive deeper into the message.
What I consider the full map out to look like would be:
- A full logo suite (because one version isn’t enough..truly)
- Complimenting brand patterns and graphics ( because it matters!!! Plaster it everyweherree)
- A color palette that feels like you/ your business (bold, soft, edgy – whatever fits)
- Fonts that give off your energy – friendly? luxury? cool girl boss?
- A brand story and aesthetic that makes clients feel something
- Cohesive usage! ( okay if you’re not consistent all over it’s no longer a recognizable brand)
When your brand is right? Selling gets way easier. LIKE SOOO much easier! Says a girl who now has ZERO shame selling every.single.day.
